He carefully crafts each and every lyric to embrace themes of contemplation and introspection. With a dynamic indie-folk sound, Tyler creates heartfelt melodies inviting listeners to reflect on their own lives and experiences.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Gregory Alan Isokov, Coldplay, Big Thief, and Sufjan Stevens, Tyler continues to write and create content inspired by these music icons and more. An album infused with themes of mindfulness, contentment, and hope, Embrace the Unknown is a lyrically and sonically stimulating record. It builds off of Tyler’s first release with an indie-folk atmosphere but with more energy, dynamics, and instrumentation. Tyler continues to write about common human experiences and struggles in a concise and relatable way.
Tyler’s first full-length record. Sonically influenced by the unofficial 2010 folk/americana revival, the music is acoustic guitar-based with additional layers of harmonies and ambient textures. Lyrically, it is akin to a coming-of-age story with Tyler writing about his experiences and thoughts as a young adult.
